Costs of living in singapore

I was doing some shopping online as I'm thinking of some renovations to my room when i return to sg.

as i was surfing the ikea website for some bedroom inspirations, i was also checking out the prices of some items, and comparing it to the UK ikea website. and guess what? the same chest of drawers cost £89 in UK and S$369 in SG!!!

OMG this is terrible! Why is it so ex in SG? even if the £ is still in the strong days of £1: S$3, £89 is only the equivalent of S$270! maybe I should think about doing some shipping.

Anyways, I spent a very good bday in Cornwall. Saw a couple of rainbows, as it rained, stopped, rained and stopped a couple of times. But we were lucky. it always stopped raining the moment we reach a place and got out of the car.

Had a nice bday dinner at a Rick Stein restaurant in Padstow. Padstow is known to have very good food. And of course, had quite a fun time camera whoring. doing all kinds of silhouette photos against the sun. Also, spent alot of time hiking around the numerous trails set along the coast of beautiful Cornwall.
