Today when I went to client's place at Elstree, I realised it really snowed quite heavily last nite there.

And today was the North London derby. Arsenal vs Tottenham. I just saw the score, Tottenham came from 2-4 down back to 4-4 !

Just as I was going home, it was bout 5min before kick off. So I decided to go to the Stadium and 凑热闹.





Hearing them cheer in the stadium made me realise how i miss watching a live match. I hope I get the ballot to watch Manchester at Old Trafford vs Sunderland on 6 Dec! Yay!

Snowing in London in Oct!!

This morning, my ka kia told me he heard from the radio that its going to snow today. I didn't really believe him coz according to the BBC weather forecasts, it only said its going to rain but not snow.

And when I was leaving my client's office just now, it was snowing! But coz my client was out of central London, somewhere in north of london.

I tried to take a photo of myself with some snow that I got caught in as I got off the taxi to get into the station.. but it was too late coz most of the snow had melted by the time i got into the station.



When i got back home in london, it stopped snowing and instead, was raining.

But suddenly before we realised, it was snowing just outside our place!!!

Some random photos

Today I left office quite late. And I decided to take a photo of my new desk. Not too new alread. been sitting there for the last month. the biggest desk I've ever got in my career to-date. haha...





After that, I went for dinner with Huiping at the trendy Upper Street. We went to Gallipoli to try the Turkish food there.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was very good. Quite dim and nice lights.





We ordered the set meal option 1 comprising of Lamb Guvec + Mitite Kofte + Chicken Guvec + Dolma Potato Salad + Humus + Cacik + Falafel + Borek Kisir + Bakla + Börülce



As you can see from the menu, there are alot of unrecognisable food. This is one of the most adventurous times whereby I actually ordered food that I dunno what they are. haha...

The taste is not bad, although its still not something that is a particular favourite to me. I stuck mainly to the meat dishes, and we also ordered extra pita bread coz I found it quite weird to eat the food like that w/o bread or rice etc. haha..

Olympian march-pass

Today there was a march-pass of the Olympians along Fleet Street, starting from St Paul's all the way to Trafalgar Square. Around 1130am, alot of pple from my office started to walk out to Fleet Street to catch the victorious Olympians.






Me and huiping found this to be the funniest because all the workers are out waving and welcoming the Olympians.




Full moon today.... very very beautiful coz it was quite a clear day.

Yesterday something stoopid happened at work. Someone sent an email to some distribution lists and I was apparently in one of the list. I found that quite weird coz I didn't know that I was on those distribution lists. Anyway, I was too busy and I didn't bother bout it. Then before I could realise it, sooo many pple started replying to ALL the recipients on the email saying that they shouldn't be there.. its really soooooo many stoopid pple who went to reply to everyone.. OMG.. and it started to clog up the mail system and pple started sending emails to EVERYONE to ask everyone to stop replying. then it started to get hilarious coz some pple just replied for the sake of replying and to make a point. Sigh... I quickly went to set a rule so that all the emails go straight to my deleted items!

Leeds Castle

Today, me, jingyi, liping and huiping went to Leeds Castle. It had been a really good week with the weather being superb. So we decided not to let such a sunny day go to waste and decided on the trip spontaneously last nite. Well, it wasn't 100% spontaneous since it had already been planned ages ago.
