During the weekend of 25/26 Oct, we went up to Birmingham to visit Jesica, who is on secondment there from kp sg.
As Jesica has a cute little 3-door Nissan March, we happily took her car to go for road trip to Chester and Bicester Village. We hardly spent much time in Birmingham except for staying there at her place overnight, and had dinner there.

Starting the 1.5hr journey with a Starbucks in hand, and the roof of the car open!

Walking in the rain.

The main street of Chester.
Chester has the reputation of being the "English medieval city par excellence", but many of its buildings are from the Victorian era. It has the most complete city wall in Britain.

The Chester Eastgate Clock - Apparently its the most photographed clock in the world after Big Ben!

A Liverpool store, with a mega poster of Torres. But we didn't go in of course. haha...

The Chester Cathedral

The buildings there are quite special. There is always this 2nd floor of shopping/restaurants/pubs/cafes in the buildings. Where they are standing now is on the 2nd floor.

Lunch at a traditional pub

The typical black and white pattern of most buildings in Chester

Check out the tree to see how strong the wind was.

The Roman Amphitheatre, or what's left of it.

The Queen's Park Suspension Bridge over the River Dee.

It was really very cold that day. But we still couldn't resist the temptation of having a nice dairy ice-cream!

The weir at River Dee.

Part of the city wall.

This building house a nice Italian restaurant, which we ended up taking a series of photos below. :)

The restaurant was TOTALLY empty, so we ended up having the whole 2nd floor all to ourselves! And of course, being the photo-crazy bunch of pple, we started our photo-taking session!

My French coffee. The first time I ordered a French coffee, and we ordered w/o looking at the menu. So i was quite shocked because it came with quite a strong shot of whiskey that I didn't expect at all!

I like this very much coz i thought it was very creative :)

Hahaha..... trying out our halloween costume which we bought from a shop in Chester..

Visit to the Cadbury factory in Birmingham.

Check out his small little feet.. haha.. cute right?

Gigantic creme egg!!!!
