Photos on France trip - Chamonix

Just back from Scotland on Mon.. haven't had the time to upload my France and Scotland photos onto Flickr yet coz busy watching US Open the last few days :) but shall update abit here on blog first hee...

The photos below were taken on the first leg of the tour to Chamonix, home of the highest mountain in France.

Nice view of La Clusaz, a ski resort

All of us at Chamonix, home to Mont Blanc, France's highest mountain

View of Mont Blanc from my hotel room

Me and my cute para-gliding pilot. Yes i went para-gliding! jumped off from 2,000m!!! I actually did not dare to jump off.. another pilot had to pull me and i shut my eyes when i jumped.. come to think of it, it was really a big waste to have shut my eyes.. but after the jump, the gliding was superb.. very nice view and weather.. enjoyed the experience tremendously.. very fun indeed.. i believe I'll dare to try again, and with eyes wide open this time!

View of Chamonix from Aiguille Du Midi, altitude of 3,842m

Taken at a lake halfway through our gruellng 12 hours drive from Chamonix to the French Riviera. The water is so blue, so clear, so pristine.. i really love this place.. but too bad we didn't have a chance to go down to the lake area..

Clear, blue lake

More of the beautiful lake
