Belgium trip - Brussels and Brugge (Part 3)

On Sat afternoon after the visit to Atomium, we made our way to Bruges by train.

Bruges is a medieval town, with its Gothic constructions unchanged from centuries ago.

Arrival at Bruges, with the Town Belfry in the background.

Dinner at Bruges, complete with beer of course!

Beautiful and yummy chocolate displays!

Houses of Bruges at the market square.

There are many canals in Bruge.

All of us on one of the many bridges crossing the network of canals.

Medieval buildings with a cute little red tree

The buildings and canals look good. But the canalboat was quite a disappointment too. Lacks the grandeur of the Venice gondolas, and the comfort of the Amsterdam canal boats.

Look out for part 4!
